Due 11-11-09 DEADLINE

Ok so im reading that book we gave up in class... DEADLINE. i'm not sure why we gave this book up because it is a good book. i read farther than the other classes had already (in 1 day), and i'm on chapter 8. i started over from the beginning cuz i didnt remember it that much.
SUMAMRY
i'll give you a background cuz if i didnt remember it much im sure you didnt either. So...

Ben Wolf: Diagnosed with some disease where he wouldnt survive a year without treatment...
Refused treatment, says he felt he was going to die early anyways
Was an all-star track runner, switched to football for last year of life (130 puounds, really skinny)
Is not telling his parents about the disease
Sees a therapist, dreams about Hey-Soos
Loves Dallas Suzuki, have an intimate relationship (if you know what i mean if you have read this)
Tries to learn as much truth as he can in his last time of his life, which turns into correecting teachers and mouthing back

Cody Wolf: Ben's younger oldeer brother (an inside joke between them)
Amazing football player
Really depends on Ben

Dad and Mom Wolf: NOt a huge part in the book, mom is drunk drugee, etc.

Rudy McCoy: TOwn drunk
Ex-priest
Reads books alot

Coach: Football coach
Girlfriend died
Family friend of WOlfs

Marla Dawson: Therapist
Paid $150 a day
Talks with Ben about everything

Doctor: Diagnosed ben
wants to do everyting he can

Hey-Soos: Imaginary person (i think) in dreams of Ben's
Gives ben advice like a therapist would
We're not quite sure who he is but he was once alive and will be again
Kinda like spanish jesus
wears robe and sandals and cloak

Sorry for the long summary, but those are the main characters and the ones that i may mention and now you kinda know the backgroound.

REFLECTION

I think that it's really sad that BEn would just accept his fate, and that he is going to die, just when life is getting great. i'm so tempted to skip to the end and see if he does die. it cant happen! in the story he says that he has never imagined himself growing up, and that he just is ok with dieing. marla says he is one extrordanary kid cuz shes never met a kid who would refuse treatment and not tell his family. if i were him i would have told my parents right away, and had them with me. I also would have excepted treatment. i love my friends and family, and i couldnt just give up on life. i have so much longer to live and i want to live it out without rushing it. when i think of him accepting this, i just think his life might not have been that great in the first place.

Another thing i think is that Hey-Soos is really him, dead, or him from the future when he is dead. i thnk he has come back to help him deal with it or sonething. if you think tat is to unrealisitc, it may just be that it is his concience speaking to him. Maybe it is just his imagination, making it up so he feels more sure about himself or restrained. in one part of the book he says "I know everyone you know.
maybe that is cuz he is him or his concience. i dont htink it is Jesus even though he is Christian. i'm not sure why, but i thiunk Jesus woudl want his name pronounced right.

Poor Cody is going to be so suprised when he dies. I mean, thats what the book points to him now, him dying, so i'm gunna expect that now when i reflect. the part right before i stopped reading says "he was counting on me next year. i mean, no coach is gpoing to let me havbe anything to do with their football team, but Codyt leans on me.. just having me around . .. ." eirlier in one of the passages it says that "Cody wil be one pissed quarterback when he figures out how long i've known." Poor Cody, it might as well ruin his career. I just dont htink that Ben is making the right choice, but sometimes the right choice isnt the easier one. his is easier to him now, just to accept death. i think that he will end up changing his life, wanting his life to be good for as long as possible, not waiting and witing for the given time to live to end.

this book is sad and raw, but not as much sa the one for lit skills CLASS, the actual group one

BLog 8??? Maybe... DUE THE 4th

Lock and Key, by Sarah Dessen, is a good book so far. i am only on page 50 though. so right now, this girl named Ruby is put in her sister (Cora)'s cuztody because her mom left. who knows where... Cora is the perfect, rich one who is nice, but 10 years ago, totally walked out of ruby and her mom's life. i think it's because she was so horrified by their lifestyly (move, not pay rent, use false names and addresses, full of lying). Now, in her cuztody after not seeing her for 10 years, it is so neat and ruby just wants to leave. she has a really strong sense of freedom, and she wants it now. Ruby is now being forced to go to the preppiest school (after going to a trailer home school), and she is really not happy. this is where i left off

I think that for some reason, Ruby's feelings of wanting freedom, and wanting out, are justified. she hasnt known her sister and now she has to live with her and her rich husband, who is trying to get everything right with her. she had been living on her own for a month or so, and she was totally fine. she was warm, had water, and there were only a couple dishes in the sink cuz the sink water pipe broke. so what? Also, as she says, the law says you are not a minor at 19, and she will be that in a couple of months. she had all these plans of what to do when she's 19. SHE EVEN HAD A JOB! i mean, just give her back her freedom people!

I also think that Cora's house would be kinda a shock, seeing your sister after 10 years, and living in a poor mess, and comin to this rich extravagant house, and the owners are public defenders and the OWNER of a HUGE COLLEGE WEBSITE! he donated a whole soccer team to a prep school! that would be such a change in lifestyle, i think i wouldnt like it cuz ive been so used to the one before. at first, she barely got her own room, and now she has her own bathroom and balcony?!?!?! thats taking drastic measures there girl! i just think that the husband of cora(Jamie), should have let her take it all in and accept it before he took her to the prep school to start the day after she arrives. that is really a change and i dont think it is the greatest.

i hope that ruby adjusts well soon in the book, like, i dont want her trying to escape every chapter. she was already caught once. i hope the people at the prep school are not all elitist and mean like ruby seems to think they are. if they are, it would be all wrong for her, adn it really wouldnt make anyone happpy.

if you've read this book, dont tell me what happens in your coments... thanks

Blog Due The 28th!!! i think

It's ALMOST Halloween!! Ok... so i read the book Nineteen Minutes (Click here if you want a trailer). Some of the parts were a little graphic, and kinda gross but like we were talking about in class, we are ignorant and need to be aware of this kind of stuff. It happened in our own country too! So, this is basically Columbine. That's the background
SPOILERS I THINK AHEAD!
So. I think that this book was REALLY good, but the last few chapters are wierd. They kind of make you go back. the story takes a totally unexpected twist when you figure out Josie remembers it all...
AGAIN REALLY DON'T READ AHEAD IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON READING THIS BOOK ANYTIME. HUGE SPOILER.
And that it was HER who shot her boyfriend MAtt Royston. OMG omg omg... she explained why briefly but i just don't get it. all it says is that she hated him, and she loved him. WHY does THAT have to be the cause of his death?? Yes, he was a jerk, but a nice one, and Josie didn;t have to do that. she didnt have to shoot him. I just wish there was a more clear reason for it. i guess it's just up to interpretation. i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to get it, but i have never EVER been in that kind of stressful situation or anything. :( this is makin me sadd ;(. poor josie.

Another thing i think about the book is that some parts are a little to slow. one example is when judge cormier (alex), the mom of josie, is deciding wether to preside on the case. i think that that fight is kind of minor in the scheme of things. another thing that i think is that there is kind of a "Red HErring (or heron??)" IT TOTALLY leads you on the wrong path. That is when peter is like, in jail and he is all sad and they get a good case deal idea thingey. they seem to have a good arguement with the battered bullied syndrome. i just think that it is wierd that in the end, it ends up that the two main characters are in jail, living a sad life. one is there for life too! i really was beginning to feel sorry for Peter and then BANG(the police man is slamming the jail door for the last time)... he is in jail for life. Poor Josie. I REALLY DONT GET WHY JOSIE SHOT MATT. read this book and tell me PLEASE!!!!

be careful, this is a tear jerker, but i guess not as much cuz i just told you what happens.

her website is here... click

THanks for reading,

6th POST, DUE THE 14TH

SO... I READ TWO OTHER SARAH DESSEN BOOKS WHILE CAMPING(IT WAS FREEZING), BUT NOW I AM READING THE TRUTH ABOUT FOREVER, and im on page 246, BY SARAH DESSEN ALSO.

SPOILERS MAYBE SOON????

I LOVE HOW THE AUTHOR DEVELOPS THE CHARACTERS AND HOW WES AND MACY JUST SEEM TO MATCH, LIKE A PUZZLE PIECE. MACY AND WES ARE PERFECT FOR EACHOTHER AND THEY BOTH HAVE PRIOR COMMITTMENTS, LIKE THEY BOTH HAVE BOYFRIENDS/GIRLFRIENDS, BUT THEY ARE ON HOLD WITH THEM.

WES AND MACY ARE GOING TO A PARTY WITH FRIENDS... THEY ARE IN A CAR AFTER ONE OF THEIR CATERING JOBS, IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE AND THE CAR RUNS OUT OF GAS. WES IS POLITE AND ASKS MACY WHICH WAY TO GO ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THEY WALK. THE WALK ABOUT TWO MILES, AND ALL THE WHILE THEY DECIDE TO PLAY TRUTH.
IF YOU ARE A BOY YOU PROBABLY DONT KNOW WHAT THAT IS...WES DIDNT. IT IS WHERE YOU PLAY A GAME, AND ASK QUESTIONS. YOU
WANT TO GET THEM TO PASS, BUT YOU HAVE TO TELL THE TRUTH!
YOU CAN ASK THEM REALLY HARD QUESTIONS OR JUST ASK THEM
EASY ONES. THAT'S ABOUT IT. ITS ACTUALLY REALLY FUN.
SO THEY BOTH PLAY TRUTH AND THEY DONT QUIT CUZ THEY R REALLY COMPETITIVE. THEY BOTH ASK QUESTIONS. MACY HAS HAD HER DAD DIE AND WES'S MOM DIED. THEY CONNECT ON MANY LEVELS. I JUST LIKE HOW IN THE STORY THEY KEEP LEARNING MORE AND MORE ABOUT EACHOTHER. IT MAY SEEM PRETTY SAPPY BUT IT'S NOT LIKE THEY LOVE EACHOTHER OR YOU KNOW, ARE BOYFRIEND GIRLFRIEND. THEY R JUST FRIENDS THAT SHARE ALMOST EVERYTHING TOGETHER. MACY HASNT TOLD ANYONE HER FEELINGS ABOUT HER DAD OR OTHER THINGS. SHE NEVER DID, SO WHEN WES ASKS HER A QUESTION ABOUT IT (KINDA) SHE IS RELUCTANT, BUT ANSWERS IT. I THINK IT WAS GOOOD TO GET IT OUTTA HER SYSTEM AND TO TELL SOMEONE FINALLY.
I JUST REALLY LIKE HOW THEY RELATE TO EACHOTHER AFTER MEETING COINCIDENTALLY, AT A CATERING JOB AT HER HOUSE. THE CHARACTERS REALLY DEVELOP AND I THINK THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE READ IN A WHILE.
THIS BOOK IS MUCH LIKE HER OTHER BOOKS, TOO BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS HAS SOMEONE HOLDING BACK ON FEELINGS. I THINK ALMOST EVERYONE CAN RELATE TO THAT IN SOME WAY. WES HELPS MACY DEAL WITH HER FATHERS DEATH SO MUCH THAT IT IS AMAZING! WES IS KINDA LIKE MACY'S LIFESAVER.
I REALLY LIKE THIS BOOK AND I THINK YOU WILL TOO... READ IT AND IF U WANNA SEE A QUICK SUMMARY BEFORE YOU CHECK IT OUT, CLICK ON ONE OR THE UNDERLINED WORDS, SARAH DESSEN OR MORE SPECIFICALLY THE TRUTH ABOUT FOREVER

ANOTHER COOL THING ABOUT THE BOOK IS HOW SARAH DESSEN CREATES THE CHARACTERS. WES IS JUST INSPIRING. SHE EXPLAINS HOW HE IS GORGEOUS AND HOW HE IS SOOO INTO ART. REALLY, HE IS KINDA A ROLE MODEL. HE IS AMAZING AT WELDING AND HE ALSO DOESNT LIKE PERFECTION, HE REALIZES THAT EVERY FLAW IS AN IMPERFECTION, AND IT IS OKAY TO HAVE THAT.
IT'S COOL TO ME HOW MACY OPENS UP TO THIS GUY SHE HARDLY KNOWS, AND THEY END UP CONNECTING. THEY HAVE THEIR PARENTS DEATHS IN COMMON, AND THEY FIGURE OUT MORE AND MORE IN THEIR GAME OF TRUTH. (I DONT WANA GIVE TO MUCH AWAY).
ENUFF ABOUT WES AND MACY, WELL, IM GUNNA KEEP WITH MACY CUZ SHES THE CAUSE OF EVERYTHING AND ITS FROM HER POINT OF VIEW. HER STINKY POO PERFECT AS EVERYTHING BOYFRIEND IS A SNOB. HE GOES TO "BRAIN CAMP" AND SETS GOALS WAY HIGH FOR HIM AND HER. HE EMAILS HER EVERYDAY TO TELL HER WHAT TO DO WHILE FILING IN FOR HIM AT THE LIBRARY. :( THEN SHE CLOSES HER NOTE BACK WITH LOVE YOU, MACY AND HE FREAKS OUT. THEEY HAVE BEEN OGING OUT FOR LIKE 2 YEAERS AND HE WONT GET CLOSE TO HER, EVEN HOLD HANDS. HE THINKS THEY ARE GETTING "DESTRACTED." HE TAKES A BREAAK FROM HER...
BECAUSE OF THAT, SHES ALL UPSET BUT STILL WORKS AT THE LIBRARY. SHE HATES IT AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE "PERFECT" TOO AND ARE TOTAL SNOBS TO HER. SHE HATES IT, AND WHEN SHE MEETS THE CATERING CREW SHORTHANDED AT HER HOUSE WORKING FOR A DAY, SHE HAS FUN. SHE HELPS THEM FOR A DAY AND THEN WHEN SHE SEES THEIR VAN NEXT, "JOINS THE GANG!" SHE IS NOW ONE OF THEM AND HAS FRIENDS OTHER THAN STUPID STINK POO BOYFRIEND JASON. KRISTY AND HER SISTER MONICA, AND THE PREGNANT WOMAN RUNNING THE SERVICE ARE ALL REALLY NICE TO HER AND TREAT HER SOOOOOOO WELL.
I LOVE THIS BOOK AND HOW SHE MELDS ALL OF THE THINGS AND PEOPLE TOGETHER TO MAKE MACY'S LIFE BETTER. IT ALL FITS IN, AND NOW I GOTTA GO STUDY FOR CONSTITUTION TEST... POOEY.

READ THIS BOOK, ITS GOOD

BLOG DUE 10/7/09 FIFTH POST

SO... I read the book Sweethearts by Sara Zarr...

Jennifer Harris is teased and made fun of immensely at school. Everyone hates her cuz she's "The Fat Kid of The School" She only has one true friend, a kid named Cameron who disappears in middle school. Now she moved, changed her name, is in high school, is skinny and popular... AND HAS HER FIRST BOYFRIEND. That was background, and now i will get to the SPOILERS!!!

I didnt get for sure the "HORRIBLE" thing that happened to her and cameron on her birthday. the problem is that the author references it many times and tells us part of it each time... its kinda hard to piece together and when i did, it didnt seem that horrible. Cameron wanted her to go back to the house (after she moved, and it's been 6 years) for some reason that i also dont understand because she says
"And what he asked me to do bothered me-- to go back to the scene of... everything. Just like that." WHATS EVERYTHIHNG?????? here's an example of one of the earlier refrences...
"He's standing behind his faher, with something in his hands. The thing in his hands is greeny brown and drooping. It's Moe, his lizard. It doesnt move. Cam says it's your birthday. He made you something. yeah, that's right, but i wouldnt get too excited, i mean, dont get ur hopes up. i've seen it and its pretty much a piece of crap. I look at cameron and try to tell him with my eyes that it's ok, whatever he made is going to be good and i'll like it because he made it.Thats alot to say with your eyes, and idk if he understands, so i find my voice. I'll like it, i tell cameron, but his dad thinks im talking to him.
Sure, you say that now, but the proof is in the pudding, right, so let's take a look. He turns toward Cameron's room, and then stops and looks back, right at me. Wel come on already, I'm not going to send you an engraved invitation. After one last glance at the front door, i follow them to Cameron's room. Cameron goes first, moving fast, Moe's tail hanging over his arm. his dad wears boots, the kind you hike in, and he walks in long-legged strides like he's going to step on cameron's heels. and then there is me, my pink sneakers on the gray carpet, hoping that we'll just look at the gift and his dad wont say anything else about me being chubby or Cameron being stupid, and Moe is only sleeping, not dead, and then i can go home."
And that's one section. It leaves you off on a cliff hanger and it's hard to piece together the pieces. i wish she had just said the whole memory in one selection, one chapter, one hour or somethin. idk...

I also think that the ending is NOT satisfying. it's like, cameron ends up going back to his family in california, staying there with his messed up family (and they really do have problems) and leaves Jennifer (or Jenna now), heartsick for him, but not in the love way... in the (as the mom says it...) "forever having unfinished business between the two of them." it ends that way tooo!! He LEAVES AND SHE STAYS AND LONGS FOR HIM... the end!!!!! Im like, omg cant u at least finish the book?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??! Like, a year later... theres a letter and flowers at their door, and its from him IN CALIFORNIA... it leaves her longing and missing, and it ends all depressed!

FOURTH POST, SEPTEMBER 30TH

SO... I READ AND FINISHED THE BOOK... THE LOVELY BONES. IT WAS AN AMAZING BOOK!!

SPOILERS AHEAD, WATCH OUT!!!!!!!

I think that a few characters were waaayyyy more memorable than the rest.

First You Need To Know the Basic Characters...

Susie: Murdered
Jack: Dad
Abagail: Mom
Lindsey: Sister
Buckley: Brother
Samuel Heckler: Lindsey's Boyfriend
Holiday: Dog
Holly: Susies best friend and roomie in heaven
Frannie: Susie's counseler in heaven
Len Fenerman: The guy that Abagail cheats on Jack with, also the detective
There are others, but you dont need to know them to understand my sinopsis and summary and blog. idk
OH, AND DONT FORGET GEORGE HARVEY, THE ONE WHO KILLED SUSIE!!!!!!!!! HE WAS HER NEIGHBOR!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY FIND OUT ITS HIM AFTER HE ESCAPES AND RUNS AWAY, SO THEY DONT FIND HIM!!!!!!!!!!! you figure out that he killed her at the beginning so i didnt ruin much.

WEll, I think the dad was really memorable because he took the loss of his daughter pretty hard. it was nice to see how he got used to it and how he eventually accepted the loss, but it was really sad. it took him really long, but i like that he thought about it, instead of pretending it never happened. thats what i did when my dog died, and now i cant remember much of her. :(. I also like how he dealt with his wife cheating on him (out of depression guys, dont get mad at me)... when she left for california, and sat there pretending nothing happened and missed him, he sat at home, living his life. He lived it pretty normally for after their daughter dying but he had a picture of her that the daughter took before she died and looked at it for hours every day. then he described how he seemed like he was falling in love again. when the mom came home when he had a heart attack (when his son, Buckley was using Susie(the murdered girl)'s clothes for a plant stand), they fell in love all over again and it was really sweet.

Another favorite character would probably be Samuel Heckler, Lindsey's(the sister of Susie) boyfriend. They were going out since 7yh grade, and eventually at 21 got married and later had kids. They never had one problem. i sympathise with Sam cuz he was in a really hard position. he had to deal with a really messed up depressed problematic family after Susie died, and all he did was comfort them all. the dad and mom loved him, and as susie thought from heaven, "It's one of those couples that were just meant to be." On college graduation, they rode home on his motorcycle and a huge horribl storm came up. They pulled over and sam found safety and helped them stay dry. they used to play ona soccer team together, and since Lindsey didnt want anyone to worry, they ran home in the pelting rain. sam gave her his jacket. i just think he dealt with alot and he could have just broke up with her or not even gone out with her in the first place/. they go t together after susie died.

I thought that you might want to know my favorite characters, but i will give you a brief overview...

It's a book about a girl, susie, who is murdered. she watches her neighbor(her murderor) and her family from heaven. since she is dead, she feels other's feelings and thougths. she knows their thoughts and evaluates all their choices. She watches her family cope and figures out how to deal with it on her part, madness, insanity, calmnity??? you'll see!!!

read the book, its really good but its really sad.

i really think that i like it... not like the other books i read.

i couldnt put it down(stop reading it for you slow turtles) cuz i did put it down.

Week 3 Post

So while you were goneee...

i finished the book the SECRET LIFE OF BEES. YAY! While it was a good interesting book, it just moved a little too slowly for me. CAUTION SPOILERS AHEAD!!! After they stayed at the river, where we left off last time, they found a place that had the Black Mary picture all over it. That is the picture that Lily had with her. What happened was she basically lied to Aubust(the bee-keeper and owner of the house along with sisters May and June) and said both her parents died, and made up this whole story. My first problem with that was Lily kept lying, basically throughout the whole book, adn she thought about telling August the truth soooooo many times. I was just like HURRY UP ALREADY!!!! JUST TELL HER!! thats one reason it was slow. The other is that theres basically no action, i mean its all talk and helping with the bees. dun dun dun DUNNNNN... (evil continuing effects), all until May killed herself. I mean, she meets all these characters like Zach and Neil and The Sisters, and nothing happens with them really until May dies. It's just slow that way. Sorry, i dont like slow books that much but i dont like really ACtion ACTIOn books either. like wars and stuff.
Another problem i have with this book is May. Why is she all depressed? When you read the book, it just makes you down adn sad. It's like she holds the whole pain and depression and problems of the WORLD on her. for example, when she hears that someone was murdered on the radio news, she starts humming "Oh Susanna." (WHY OH SUSANNA?????) then she starts SOBBING, i mean literally eyes filled overflowing mouth mourning SOBBING. Why does the author have to make her sooooooooooo depressed. Another time was when Zach, who she wasnt that close to goes to jail, she finds out and says she's gunna go 2 her wailing wall (A WALL THAT SHE WRITES ALL THE PROBLEMS IN THE WORLD DOWN AND STUFFS IT IN2 THE WALL. SHE SOBBS MORE THERE). when she goes there, she ends up killing herself, rolling a rock down the bank of a river on2 herslef while lying face up eyes open under the water in the river. omg, they described the whole scene( another problem, it grossed me out and made me feel REALLY sad). they find her suicide note and it says basically that she cant hold all the weight of the world on herself anymore. she had to leave. WHY????? what is the need for this character? i get that it made the book have action but only for like 5 minutes and then all the characters stop working on the honey hives and mourn all day and all night. it shares all their thoughts. it gets really really SSSSS LLLLLLLL OOOOOO WWWWWW (slow if u dont get it yet).

In other words, my problems were how slow hte book was and Mays depressing state. UGG IT GETS ME SOOOOOOOOO MAd. i'll leave the very end up 2 u to read or figure out, i dont wanna ruin the whole book 4 u. (even tho i kinda already did cuz i gave up the most action part except when... oh wait, i wont tell u but it has to do with T-Ray)................... I'm gunna go post on sum1 elses blog now.

~Emma Baldwin~

P.S. i commented on mara's and Aisling's and Libby's and Fran's blog (you dont have to look at all but if u do only look at 1 i wouldnt look at libbys cuz i actually didnt fully comment... u will have to look to know what i mean)

SECOND POST:)

im readin a book called The SECRET LIFE OF BEES

i feel like im down in all my posts and uno, just thinkin they're not great books... well this is the same

no different

so... it's kind of a long beginning, boring and slow moving. it also doesnt help when my mom and Fran say that they didnt like the book that much, THANKS GUYS!!!

So........... right now (BTW IF UR PLANNING ON READING THE BOOK I WOULDNT READ THIS ALTHOUGH IDK IF ITS A SPOILER)

So... again... Lily Owens is in this kind of abusive relationship with his dad, who is really mean adn her mom died when she was 4. her dad T-Ray, makes her kneel on bits of shreaded glass when she gets in trouble (sometimes for doing nothing)

she adn her kind of "stand in mom" rosaleen get arrested for stealing from church adn rosaleen unsulted a bunch of guys that are racist adn they are like the most black hating people ever if u no wut i meen. they wont stop at anything to kill her. she is in jail and Lily is bailed out by her dad adn he made her kneel on the bits. the guys come to visit her and beat her on the head. she gets knocked out and put in the hospital. GEEZ THoS GUYS ARE NOT NICE! (obviously, but its a view). Lily is home after he puts her on the glass 4 a couple of hours, and then he sends her to bed. he tells her that the reason her mother was packing when she died (cuz lily picked up the gun her dad dropped and it went off, without warning killed her mom) wuz because she left before then adn came back for her stuff. idk if this is true but i kinda agree that this was T-Rays some kind of idea of sick punishment.

lily cant stand with the idea that her mom did that and she comes up with the idea it is his punishment for her. she gets soooooooooooooooooooooooo angry cuz she is really tireeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed of living with him and his abuse. she finally cant stand it. she goes 2 rescue rosaleen out of jail but she was still in the hospital from the blow actually meant 2 kill her. the guard said if she was seen at the hospital he would cal her dad. when her dad found out she left he got SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO mad, REALLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY mad! lol i luv doin long letters. she went anyway and got her outta the hospital. it was actually a good plan even tho it wuz thout out wen she got there.

so now they hitchiked adn are 3 miles from the town called Tiburon, SC. they stayed at a creek adn she is thinking about the picture of the black mary that wuz in her moms stuff and why it says its from Tiburon, and why her mom had it. I hope they get 2 tiburon soon cuz its gettin kinda borin now.

wow, i just realized that its actually kinda full of action. i didnt realyize tht b4.

:):):):):) sry 4 the not full writing and i think you (ms. pietrzak) sayd we cood do it. soooooooooooooooooo............... rite now i think the story is pretty good and tha i reely shood get to the rest of my hw.

by the way, i finished my last book (speak).

thanks

MY BOOK 9-3-09

I read the book Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, and it is really a book about a girl who is a social outcast. She is basically hated by all high schoolers right now and I dont think that it is that great. It is just kind of quiet and unusual but I am going to keep reading it because i want to know whats going to happen. I am on page 45 or somewhere around there and i'm not sure really what the big plot or problem is. i might not reccomend it yet but we will have to wait and see about it.

This girl, Melinda, apparently called the police on a party over the summer, (i just read that part where i find out why she has no friends so i dont know many details) and all of her friends hate her and arent talking to her anymore. The feeling is all kind of depressing right now because she is having trouble talking to anyone and making new friends. I think that the girl should just speak up and just really make new friends, so that she won't feel so lonely. it might also let her turn in more work, and actually do her homework without just taking a nap. Her parents are not really supportive and they really dont communicate well. they leave notes instead of talking.

Heyyyyyy this is EMMA BALDWIN and this is my first post in our Lit. Skills class.
